Dedicated CPU servers

Updated September 23, 2026

In short

On a dedicated-CPU server the cores are yours alone, so speed does not depend on what the neighbours are doing. We carry 119 such sizes across 4 clouds, from $48/mo to $5760/mo, billed hourly from a crypto balance with no identity checks.

On a normal VPS the physical core is shared. Most of the time that is fine and it is why a small server costs $10. It stops being fine when your workload is steady rather than bursty: a build that takes four minutes on a quiet host and eleven on a busy one, an encoder that drops frames, a database whose p99 latency wanders for no reason you can see from inside the machine.

A dedicated-CPU server removes that variable. You pay more per core and get the core.

What we carry

119 sizes across 4 clouds, from $48/mo for the smallest to $5760/mo for the largest. The line-up comes straight from the providers' own catalogues, so it includes their specialised shapes: CPU-optimised, memory-optimised and storage-optimised, not just "more cores".

Pick the provider and the city, and the panel shows only the sizes that provider genuinely hands out there. A size that exists in a price list but is not allocated to us never appears - collecting money for a machine that will not boot is worse than not offering it.

How to choose between the shapes

CPU-optimised when the job is compute: builds, transcoding, simulations. Memory-optimised when the working set does not fit and the processor waits on RAM: caches, in-memory databases, analytics. Storage-optimised when the disk is the bottleneck rather than the CPU.

If none of that describes your case, a regular VPS is the honest answer and costs a third of the price. Dedicated CPU is worth money when variance costs you something measurable, not as a general upgrade.

Billing and what stays the same

Hourly from your crypto balance, with no term and no contract: a dedicated-CPU machine is billed by the same rule as a $10 Micro, so taking one for a two-day migration costs two days.

Everything else works as usual - full root from the first minute, a dedicated IPv4, snapshots, address swap, the REST API and the same panel. There is no separate product to learn.

Why the same size costs differently in different cities

Our price follows the provider's purchase price, and that price is regional. The same machine can cost us three to four times more in the United States than in Europe, and we do not average that out across locations - averaging would mean overcharging in the cheap city to subsidise the expensive one.

So the panel shows the price for the city you picked, and marks a location as dearer when it is. Pick the cheapest city that is close enough to your users and you pay the cheapest price.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a dedicated-CPU and a regular VPS?

On a regular VPS the physical core is shared with other machines, so your speed depends partly on their load. On a dedicated-CPU server the cores are assigned to you alone, which removes that variance. You pay more per core for predictability.

How much does a dedicated-CPU server cost?

From $48/mo for the smallest size up to $5760/mo for the largest, billed hourly from your balance. The exact price depends on the provider and the city, because our price follows their regional purchase price.

Which providers do you offer dedicated CPU on?

4 of the four clouds we run on. You choose the provider at deploy time, and the panel only shows sizes that provider actually allocates to us in that city.

Do I need a dedicated CPU for a website or a VPN?

Usually no. Those workloads are bursty, and a shared-core VPS handles them at a third of the price. Dedicated CPU pays off when the load is steady and variance costs you something you can measure.

Why is the same size cheaper in one city than another?

Because it is cheaper for us there. Providers charge regional prices - the same machine can cost three to four times more in the US than in Europe - and we pass that through instead of averaging it into one global price.

Can I pay with crypto and skip identity checks?

Yes, the same as for every other server here: an email address to register, a crypto top-up, and hourly billing from the balance.
