Why people want this
- **Clean reputation.** Start over on an address nobody else has burned — no inherited blocklists, no shared history.
- **Rotation.** Cycle exit IPs across sessions or between providers without rebuilding your environment each time.
- **Recovery.** A service blocked your IP and you need a new one *now* — without tearing down the server you already configured.
How it works
- Open your server in the dashboard and find **Change IP address**.
- Hit **Get a new IP** and confirm.
- We snapshot the disk → redeploy on a new IPv4 → restore your data. Back online in about two minutes, with everything intact.
No card, no KYC, no support ticket — the same email-and-crypto flow as everything else here. Available on Vultr servers today, with more backends to follow.
Data safety
The new server is built from a full snapshot of the old one, so your files, configs and installed software come across exactly as they were. The old instance is only destroyed after the snapshot is complete — your data always lives in at least one place during the switch.

Prefer a completely fresh box instead of a fresh IP? Deploying a new server still takes about 60 seconds and is billed by the hour, so you only pay for what you use. Either way, no identity, no card — just an email and a crypto balance.
